Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.” – Philippians 2:1-4

Congregants at Community Christian Church come from all walks of life and backgrounds, and we simply enjoy being together. Potluck dinners, guest speakers and picnics are just some of the ways we build relationships – and have fun! We also encourage people to connect with each other through their service, like singing in the choir, working our annual Garage Sale, or participating in our varied ministries and committees. We believe that fellowship among people who worship together strengthens the spirituality of individuals and families.

Events

There are active women’s and men’s groups, a choir, and special events

General Board

Our General Board is the governing body CCC. Their monthly meetings are open to all.

Ministries Council

The Ministries Council coordinates the activities and programs of the congregation. They meet quarterly and their meetings are also open to members and friends of the church.

Board of Trustees

The Trustees are charged with managing the contractual and legal matters of the church.

Board of Elders

The Board of Elders is concerned with the spiritual welfare of the congregation and the minister(s). The elders belief strongly in prayer, raising up people in prayer daily, both from the congregation and the community. They provide leadership to the church by participating in worship services and maintaining a shepherding program.

Nominating Committee

This group recruits qualified members of the church to serve in leadership positions.

Finance

The Finance Committee includes the chair or co‑chairs of the Finance Committee, vice‑chair of the General Board, chair or one of the co‑chairs of the Board of Trustees, the financial secretary, and the treasurer. They meet regularly in order to manage and safeguard the financial resources of the church.

It is the responsibility of all those serving in leadership positions at CCC to carry out the Vision and Mission of the church.
