Youth
...set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
~ 1 Timothy 4:12

Youth Ministers
Hey! We are Adam and Randi, the youth pastors here at CCC. We were married on June 4th, 2011, and we have enjoyed almost every minute of it. We are now going to school at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School just a few miles down the road. We are excited to see what God has in store for our youth group here at CCC. Feel free to contact us with questions and comments. We would love to get to know you. Hope to see you at youth group!
Youth Group Meetings
The youth meet regularly after church on Sundays from 11:30am - 12:30pm. Activities planned for each month include: learning about their faith; fellowship; playing games and developing unique outreach projects. Scroll down to see more specific information and the youth calendar.
Alive Youth Group
This group of 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders enjoy being together while learning about the lessons in the Bible and how to apply them to real life. They go on outings, stay at church for games and "Rock-ins", serve the community and just "hang out" in the youth room.
Revive Youth Group
Senior high youth (9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders) are the members of this energetic and ambitious group. Whether they are hitting the road for a mission trip, or enjoying each other's company in the youth room, this group has it going on!
Youth Room
This is a great place, designed and created by the youth with the help and support of adult CCC friends. Youth are encouraged to study, play, be creative and socialize together in this space. The room will evolve as the youth grow, while remaining a fun, comfortable sanctuary to them.
Café 920
Each Sunday at 9:20am, before the 10am worship service, the youth are encouraged to fellowship together while enjoying snacks and hot beverages in the youth room. The name "Café 920 " not only indicates what time to be there, but it also refers to a bible passage, Luke 9:20. In that verse, Jesus asks his disciples: "who do you say that I am?" Peter, one of the twelve, answers: "the Christ of God." Thus we celebrate friendship, snacks, beverages and conversation in the context of Christian faith. Come early, come late, but don't miss out! We do hope you'll join us!
Pastor's Class
Pastor's Class enables children and adults alike to learn and explore the life of faith and become baptized members. Whether you are new to the faith or a long-time church goer, so long as you are in the 6th grade or older, you are welcome to join this class to consider baptized membership or confirmation in Community Christian church and the wider "Body of Christ." The sessions will be interactive, conversational, and they will provide an opportunity for us all to better learn about ourselves and the faith we profess.
Outreach
Many opportunities are available to the youth to serve their community and the world around them: Soup Kitchen; Mission Trip; Feed My Starving Children; church work days and assisting in Sunday School. It is the desire of the Youth Leadership Team (YLT) to encourage service in whatever way a young person envisions.
